Funeral Services for Mr. Sanders "Greg" Reese will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at Shiloh First Baptist Church 122 Hooks Street, Gordon. Pastor Kendrick K. Mack, Sr. will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 1:00PM at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery 2617 Vinson Highway, Milledgeville.
Sanders “Greg” Reese was born on September 5, 1961 to the parentage of the late Mr. Sanders Pell White and Mrs. Annie Bell Moore. He was preceded in death by: step-father, Mr. Pete Moore, and one sister: Ms. Star White.
Greg graduated from Wilkinson County High School in 1979. He joined the United States Army shortly afterwards, where he served faithfully for 3 years. He worked at Active Minerals as an Operator in Gordon, GA. He accepted Christ and joined Shiloh First Baptist Church of Gordon, GA later in life. He was the most kind and free-hearted person you could have ever met. He was a very outgoing and outspoken person. Greg was a man who truly enjoyed his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving, devoted and faithful wife, Mrs. Doris Reese of Irwinton, GA, one step-son, Brandon Jones of Atlanta, GA; three sisters, a loving sister Regina (Lerenzo) Harrold of Gordon, GA, Sandra White- Abram and Heavenly White both of Macon, GA; three brothers, Richard (Doris) Reese and Peter Bivins both of Gordon, GA and Timmy (Zanda) Reese of McDonough, GA; two aunts: Betty Solomon and Carrie Lou Harden both of Gordon, GA; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Mills and Betty Josey of Dublin, GA; one brother-in-law, Henry Jones of Augusta, GA; a devoted niece, LaRonda Veal; a devoted nephew, Jeremy Gotell; two devoted cousins, Brenda Brown and Annette Solomon of Milledgeville, GA; special friends, Tyrone Robinson and Rose Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 11-7PM at the Funeral Home.
Wilkinson County Memorial Chapel, Irwinton has charge of arrangements.
