Patricia Sims

Funeral Services for Ms. Patricia L. Sims will be held Monday, May 17, 2021 at Brundage Mt. Baptist Church Cemetery Vinson Road McIntyre, Georgia. Rev. Donald Williams will officiate.

On June 25, 1965 our Guiding Light was born to the late Justine Sims and Samuel Lee Sims. She attended the public school system in Brooklyn, New York. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was employed at Lithonia Lighting in Cochran, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her significant other Frank Anderson “F.E”, her parents Justine Sims and Samuel Lee Sims, aunts and uncles; Daisy Sims, Dewayne Sims, Ulysses Sims, Melinda Johnson,  Peate Simpson, Sammie L. Davis “Junebug”,Charlie Mapp “GEI”, Hollis Davis and aunt Ada Mae Todd and granddaughter Faith Taylor.

She leaves to cherish her memories four children and grandchildren Demetric Sims (Lateasha); grands, Demetria and Deborah of Gordon, Georgia, Catrice Sims (Cavin); grands: Khris, Jayla, Kelasiah, Keondriah, Khia, Frankie, Cavin, Jr., Caden, Caleb of Irwinton, Georgia; Roddrick Hillman (Shamekia) Grand Faith of Sandersville, Georgia, Byas Taylor (Jasmine), Christian and Jeramiah of Macon, Georgia, four sisters; Cynthia Hughes (Shawn) of Gordon, Georgia, Latonya Stubbs (Gary) of Irwinton, Georgia, Celena Shinholster (Riley) of Irwinton, Georgia, A devoted loving sister Sara Sims of Gordon, Georgia, four brothers; Kimberly Sims (Mary) of North Carolina. Julius Sims (Kimberly) of Ivey, Georgia, Roberto Sims and David Sims both of New York; aunt Agnes Shinholster “Cuda”, a devoted niece Tina Coverson, a host of nieces, nephews and family she loved in McIntyre, Irwinton, and Jeffersonville.
