Mamie Scott

Funeral Services for Ms. Mamie L. Scott will be held Friday, February 19, 2021 at Parker Hill Baptist Church Cemetery 727 Parker Hill Church Road, Toomsboro, Georgia at 1:00PM. Pastor Sandra Simmons will officiate.

Ms. Mamie L. Scott was born January 23, 1956. She was born to the late Roman Scott and the late Mrs. Elouise P. Scott. She attended Wilkinson County Public School Class of 1976. She joined Fountain Grove AME Church. She enjoyed playing softball as a pitcher for McIntyre Tigerettes and spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Mamie L. Scott was called home to on February 9, 2021 to be with the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Mrs. Earlean Scott Veal and her brother Carstell Scott.

Mamie leaves love and great memories to three daughters, Felecia Snead, Jessica (Torrie) Flourney and Domnice (Andrew) Scott all of McIntyre; three sons, Billy (Khonsuala) Scott, Quinton (Keytaya) Scott and Jamie (Valana) Scott; two sisters, Betty (Rico) Myrick and Teresa Coates; four brothers Raymond Scott, Roy Lee Scott, Billy (Geraldine) Scott and Johnny (Cynthia) Scott; eleven grandchildren; Jaron, Laron, Tyasia, Alexus, Jeremiah, Jataius, Taliyah, Ryan, Jayla, Jordan, and Jaicee; four great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Jasiah, Gianna, and Amir, a devoted friend Virginia Newsome,  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Public Viewing will be held Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 1-6:00PM.

Wilkinson County Memorial Chapel, Irwinton has charge of arrangements.
