Jeffery Veal

Funeral Services for Mr. Jeffery N. Veal will be held on Saturday February 04, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Greater Bethel Baptist Church 157 E. Main Street in Irwinton. Pastor Sam Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow at Allen Cemetery Hwy 57, in Irwinton.

Mr. Jeffery N. Veal was born on May 19, 1962 in Milledgeville, Georgia. At an early age he joined Greater Bethel Baptist Church. He was a 1980 graduate of Wilkinson County High School and he was employed by Van Crawford Logging Company.

Jeff was preceded in death by a son Tavarius Veal; mother: Nora Louise Veal; step-father: Ernest Hood; three sisters and two brothers.

He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter: Katrina (Oliver) Stanton; grandchildren: Rodrick Hurt, Jr. and Tahyra Hurt of Milledgeville, Georgia; sister: Sheila V. Justice of Macon; sister-in-law: Clara Mae Edmond of McIntyre, Georgia; brother-in-law: Calvin Justice of Sparta, Georgia; aunts: Anna (EV) Carswell of Columbus, Georgia, Beatrice V. Stuckey of Atlanta, Bertha V. Pitts, Alice Pearl Veal Strange of Irwinton, Georgia, Gloria S. Veal of McIntyre, Georgia, Ruby H. Hill of Milledgeville, Georgia: uncles: L.C (Lucy Mae) Veal of Irwinton, Georgia, and Joe Stuckey of Dublin, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, a devoted close friend Ernest Green, and a devoted niece Lynette May.

Mr. Jeff Veal will be in the sanctuary of Greater Bethel Baptist Church one hour prior to service hour. Viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday January 3rd, 2017 from 11:00 am until 7:00 PM. Family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Alice Strange 1839 Asbell Road in Irwinton. Wilkinson County Memorial Chapel, Irwinton has charge of arrangements.
