Ms. Evelyn Strange Daniels was born to the late Mr. Troy Lee and Maebell Strange on July 7, 1951.
On April 4, 2023, she answered the call from her heavenly father, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late John Cooper Daniels known as “JC”. In this union she was blessed with two children, Tammie Terrell Daniels and Amanda Lee Nesbitt.
She joined the Jordan Stream Baptist Church at an early age and was a faithful member of the mass choir until her health began to decline.
She is survived by her beloved children, Tammy Terrell Daniels, Amanda Lee Nesbitt (Dexter) of Toomsboro, GA and Christopher Jason Daniels of Atlanta, GA. She has eight siblings in which two preceded her in death, the late Nathaniel L. Strange and Ellis Charles Strange. She is survived by four sisters, Rosetta Strange Wright, Essie Lee Strange Daniels (Nathaniel), Elizabeth Strange, Beatrice Strange Foreman (James); two brothers, Benjamin Strange, Sr. (Lainer), Rev. Willie T. Strange, all of Toomsboro, GA; sisters-in-law, Mary K. Strange, Carolyn Whipple Strange, both of Irwinton, GA, Sarah Daniels of Atlanta, GA, Betty Ann Davis (Kat), Linda Lamar, Gail Lawrence (James), all of Sandersville, GA; two brothers-in-law, Nathaniel Daniels (Essie Lee), Bobby Daniels (Annie Jean).
Evelyn is also survived by three grandchildren, Lyric Nesbitt, Dexter Nesbitt, Jr., Jae'Den Nesbitt; two great grandchildren, A'Llyria Nesbitt and Chosyn Nesbitt of Toomsboro, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; a special friend, Hiram Miller of Toomsboro, GA.
Wilkinson County Memorial Chapel, Irwinton has charge of arrangements.
