Funeral Services for Mr. Eddie Oscar Veal will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. John CME Church on College Street in Gordon, GA. Rev. William Horne will officiate. Interment will follow at Asbury Church Cemetery in Gordon.
Eddie departed this life in the arms of his son, Adrian, on Saturday, January 7, 2017 to begin his new journey with the lord.
He is survived by: his wife, Cynthia Veal of Gordon; nine children, Larry Ivey of Birmingham, AL., Eddie (Donna) Veal, Jr. of Springfield, MA., Stanley (Vickie) Trimble of Cartersville, GA., Christopher (Tammy) Jackson, Sr. of Milledgeville, GA., Stephanie Jackson, Karrie Jackson, Roderick Briscoe, Adrian Veal, and Ben (Heather) Coney III, all of Gordon, GA.; one sister, Sylvia (Freddie) Densley of Gordon, GA.; one brother, Willie C. Veal of Gordon, GA.; one aunt, Ruby (Felton) Coley of Danville, GA, 24 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and lifelong friends. Wilkinson County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
