Funeral Services for Mrs. Christine Williams will be held Friday, April 9, 2021 at 1:00PM. Location Parker Springs Baptist Church 910 Parker Springs Church Road, McIntyre, Georgia. Interment will follow at Council Cemetery GA Highway 112, McIntyre.

Mrs. Christine Williams Knight was born April 19,1938 to the parentage of the late Ellen Thornton Williams and the late John Henry Ward Williams. She departed this life on Tuesday , April 06, 2021. She was preceded in death by devoted husband ,Roosevelt Knight, sister , Viola Carswell, and granddaughter, LaTasha Horne. As a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt she developed at an early age a nurturing spirit and caring heart.

Born in Wilkinson County on John Ross Pond , she was a member of Parker Spring Baptist Church. She attended Brundage Mt. School.

She was formerly employed at Baldwin County Hospital. She later retired from Green Acres Nursing Home with twenty-five years.

She leaves to cherish her memories daughters, Anita Williams , Regina Williams , Wanda (Timothy) Bonner, Vickie (Ricky) Thomas ; brother Willie Roy Zachary,  step-children; Julia (Harry) Diskell, Ada (Darryl) Veal, Roosevelt (Carolyn) Knight Jr., Huby Knight, and Walter Knight; devoted nephew John (Dwan) Carswell Jr., devoted granddaughter Laskita (Timothy) Taylor and a host of grandchildren , great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
